IMPORTANT Notes:
1. CLOSE OFFICIAL STEAM CLIENT BEFORE RUNNING THIS GAME!
2. “Gamepad settings” menu in game is achieved by manually modifiying steamapi.ini settings
3. If you want to keep the game savings stored for the future , dont forget to backup steamapi,ini or write down AccountID(game saves are locked using it).

If you use an older ACME type controller(Dinput), be sure to put it in “Analog” mode(press “Analog” button between the sticks). Otherwise right sticks command will overlap with ABXY buttons in digital mode. In case you still encounter lags while playing without controller, set EnableControllerfalse in GameSettings in steamapi.ini

If you dont get the correct icons for your controller , modify “ControllerType” setting in steamapi.ini

Another if, if youre using DS4Windows to mount your PS4 controller. In DS4Windows, press “stop” which will stop the driver. then check the box labeled “Hide DS4 Controller” and then press the button labeled “Start” to start the driver back up. This will fix the issues with conflicting controller drivers.

i had tried this method too :/
when i change the language and want to save the file i must choose the folder of the game and when i want to save it then it says me that the save option in the folder is not possible:///
please help i am so frustrated:’///

There are three method to change game language, first is from game options (if available), second is from language changer (if available), third is by edit language line in .ini file (example steam_api.ini or steam_emu.ini or codex.ini or skidrow.ini or 3dmgame.ini) if your windows hide the common extensions, the name of file will be without the ini, example “steam_api”. the icon looks like a txt file icon)

P/s: Not all games support multi language, check game language info before you do this action ^^

thank you for the fast answer, the first method is not available the second : i dont know what languag changer is and the third says me that i cant save the .ini file, it says me that there arent enough place for the file but its onlx 2 kb???? please help

I found this: go to your “ni no kuni” installation folder
search and open steam_api.ini file in that folder
find Languange=japanese
and change to Languange=english
then save it and try to play the game

I have tried this too but when i want to change to “german” and close the file it asks me “do you wnat to save” i click on save then i must go to the order from the game and when i want to save it it says that this ist not possible :/:/:/
