It is a time of war.

Game doesn't work.
FFVII_jp.exe is a FFVII_jp.exe.dat and FFVII_en.exe is FFVII_en.exe.dat.
If you run FFVIILauncher.exe and then click on Start, the error can not open FFVII_en.exe.dat.

i wannna change the language to japanese. I already try to change the luncher setting, but they didn’t work. they say like ” A program error has occurred.

error : 3889861889 : 361
you should use FF8_BUILD_JP for the japanese version”

i want know how this problem solved in my PC.

There are three method to change game language, first is from game options (if available), second is from language changer (if available), third is by edit language line in .ini file (example steam_api.ini or steam_emu.ini or codex.ini or skidrow.ini or 3dmgame.ini) if your windows hide the common extensions, the name of file will be without the ini, example “steam_api”. the icon looks like a txt file icon). If none of these above work, then I have to apologize cause I don’t test the game, I only provide links ToT

thank you for your advice. I try the ini file change English to Japnese,but it says like before. l think japanese language version which need something different install format. Anyway, it is work others language like using west word based country. it’s little bit take time to understand what they say. but I can play English, too. thank you for your surppot. have a nice day.
