Nope they aren’t. I looked so much in reddit they all getting this same error after they update the new version of windows 24h2 soo some of them are saying that DODI repack work fine someoff says it doesn’t i think now it has something to do with the update I think!?

Nope I made it conform. now dodi repack also doesn’t work and EMPRESS is also stops working this thing same happen to just cause 4 none of them isn’t working. The new windows update case this problem I think we are doomed 🙁

this game wont start… i tried blocking the firewall and start as admin

– Install Complete Visual C Redistributable, Direct X & SDK
– Install the game in Safe Mode: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/12376/windows-10-start-your-pc-in-safe-mode

it seems the onedrive cloud or windows update did something wrong it got fix after reinstalling windows and c++ 2019

– Type Run in start, open it, type appdata and click ok.
– Open Local folder and find DeadIsland2 folder then click Saved and then Config and then WindowsNoEditor folders.
– Find GameUserSettings and unlock it, change WindowedMode=Fullscreen with WindowedMode=Windowed. save it and try to open the game.
