Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world, action-adventure story set in Night City, a megalopolis obsessed with power, glamour and body modification. Game crashing on old CPUs: possible fix
If you happen to have an old CPU you maybe having this crash:
Expression: EXCEPTION_ILLEGAL_INSTRUCTION (0xC000001D)
The game is trying to use a feature you don’t have: AVX.
For AVX crashes.
Futher down in the thread is this fix which appears to be working. On nexusmods is also an edited version of the cyberpunk.exe which is basicly the same thing.

I checked and the passwords are fine, the one to access filecrypt is the number under the link, the one to extract the file is “www.ovagames.com”
When I try to update it gives me these errors

ohhh, I did some researches and turn out that the base game you’re using right now is maybe the GOG Preload version, so the update won’t work on that, you have to download the new base game with the update ^^
Thanks. Yes, it’s the GOG preload version, but the updates are searching for an installation which the GOG version doesn’t have (There is no setup).
Or do you mean the GOG version will not work in general?
well the update v1.05 may require a specific way to install, so to be easy, just install the version that already updated to 1.05 that we just updated ^^

no it doesn’t have a password, you just need to copy all the contents in that folder and paste into the game install folder ^^

We have all the instructions to install the game there, and we also have all the password, if the file requires a password to extract, it will be in the “Password” category and it’s often “www.ovagames.com”. but the crack file shouldn’t be locked by password, other people don’t face that problem as well, so if you want it to be easier, download other version such as GOG instead.
