If you are having problem to open the game then i have the solution
So basically you cannot open the game frome the file , you just have to search it on windows search bar , just type crackdown and it will showed up
I do not know exactly why it is like that but i think it is beacause it needs to connect with xbox app to complete the sign in
I found a fix that also helped me fix Forza 7 from Noah in Forza 7 section.
Install base game
Manually Apply Cack
Install Update but let the installer apply the crack
Open a Powershell inside the directory of Crackdown 3 and enter Add-AppxPackage -register AppxManifest.xml
Run the game shortcut from the start menu
Cack should be crack obviously.
This is all that I’ve tried.
-block game in Firewall
-install game, install crack, run Installapp.exe
-installed update + crack, rerun Installapp.exe
-Someone said folder shouldn’t be read only, made it read/write
-original was installing to Exfat Hard drive, moved to NTFS hard drive
Absolutely nothing has worked I read to use the shortcut in the start menu and it shows the Crackdown 3 logo for a minute, then crashes. I have this same problem with Forza 7. Both have InstallApp.exe.
I have a Nvidia GTEForce GTX 1650
Did you update your windows fully?
Applied crack, but game won’t start just closes when running exe.
