Izzy and Nat break out of their boring summer routine when they make the discovery of a lifetime: an alien living at the bottom of a nearby pond. The mysterious creature, which they name Faerie, asks them for help returning to its home on a passing comet in exchange for showing the girls their futures. As they search for scrap metal to feed their new celestial friend, Izzy and Nat suddenly realize Faerie’s influence is spreading far beyond what they expected.
