Just checked and all the links are fine.
HOW TO PLAY ASSASSINS CREED ON WINDOWS 11 – PERSONALLY FOUND FIXES AND CONFIRM WORKING (FOR ME).
If users are having issues getting this game to play, especially if your using handheld pc devices (Windows 11), I found solutions to fix issues.
GAME AUTO CLOSES AND WONT PLAY.
The reason your game won’t play (auto closes) is because it can’t detect your mouse, switching your device to mouse mode, then let the game load before switching back to controller mode (this should be explained how to switch modes by your device instructions).
GAME WONT DETECT CONTROLLER AS AN INPUT.
This one I had tested multiple methods, but the EASIEST WAY I found was to use Steam, then add the game as a non steam game and use their controller input and you can download ones created by the community to suit your needs.
NOTE: Device MUST BE in mouse mode before clicking play.
GAMEPLAY/MOVIES KEEP PAUSING
This is because the game keeps trying to connect to Ubisoft Assassins Creed game servers (which no longer exist).
Again, I tested different methods and found the EASIEST WAY was to use fixed exe launchers from nexusmods, simply create a backup of your launchers (to save having to uninstall/reinstall if there’s any issues).
Download and extract these files into your Assassins Creed install directory, replacing original files.
This worked for me, using ONEXPLAYER 2 PRO.

Try to do this with the game and run as Windows 7 or XP since the game is designed for older Windows versions.
I think I found out the issue, because I am using a handheld pc, the game auto crashes if I am not in mouse mode.
It loads if I enable mouse mode, but its no good for gaming, switch back to controller mode and it crashes.
Tried adding it to Steam to use controller overlay using mouse bindings, game plays but randomly crashes.
Ill keep testing and report back when I get it works NG.
Oh :(( Maybe try a controller emulator if you’re comfortable with it :((
