Anime City combines gameplay of a survival simulator and classic anime visual novels. You will have to study in a Japanese high school, engage in after school activities, and try to make new friends.

The game is focused on anime culture, carefully and authentically recreating building designs, clubs, clothes, food, activities, and other core elements of anime and manga about school life.

In addition to attending regular school classes (history, physical education, Japanese language, cooking) you can join one of after school clubs (gardening, tennis, drama, science, music) and perform tasks assigned by club leaders.

Throughout the game, you can meet several dateable characters, and ask them out on dates. Your success will depend on whether your stats meet their minimum expectations. Interactions with both girls and boys are possible.
