As your elder brother takes his place on the throne, you are made warden of a small castle on the outskirts of the kingdom. Blind from birth and sheltered for much of your childhood, you welcome your exile as a chance for a little adventure.

En route to the castle, your convoy is attacked by a huge invading army. You find yourself alone in hostile lands where you must scrape together supplies and seek out allies in hopes of surviving the long, dangerous journey home.

The path home follows a dark and winding valley known simply as “The Vale”. It shrouds the land’s darkest secrets including startling truths about your family’s past.

This game is really interesting, sharping your senses and reflexes. A very good concept.
However you only have one automatic save at the beginning/end of each quest and FYI, this version contains a major blocking bug in one of them (battle goes on infinitely with partner(s) when your ennemies are down) so you can’t go on in the game because it keeps happening when reloading. It happens during the shadow wolf attack of the “pigeon” (the stranger bothering the orphans of the mining village). This may be a side quest so it might still be possible to go further in the game if you don’t take it.
Also, I saw that the bug at this specific location or a similar one has been fixed recently so there will be need of an update.
Plus, I noticed a minor bug while taking the hunting quest in that same village (after the bridge, close to the border), if you encounter the bear, its sound is covered with the bee sounds and it might just vanish (the bear) while running around. The only way if that happens is to quit to main menu and to reload.
