I got crash “The application encountered an unexpected error” whenever it goes to the main menu after the intro video playing.

The only solution I could find is:
1. Open the Battle.net desktop app.
2. Click the icon of the game you are trying to repair.
3. Click the cogwheel next to the Play button and select Scan and Repair.
4. Click Begin Scan.
5. Wait for the repair to finish.
But I don’t know if it’s gonna work or not.

hi ! thanks for this game but i cant creat a char cause the game tell me to lauch the game by blizz launcher… any idea ? 🙂
You can fix it by reading the install instruction. You run it via START.
I dont have ” START ” in the main folder :-(. i just have Game.exe and D2 launcher.exe.
If you’re not seeing START.exe your antivirus swallowed it. Turn them off before doing anything.

Hey NAM.. What happens if you have Blizzard Launcher running anyway? I have D3:RoS, SC1 and SC2 installed.. Shall I download it and test it and see what happens? lol..
I don’t mind as long as there is a Mega.nz link as got pro lite account with them. 😉
OH.. got it pre-purchased anyway so I can wait for it..
I mean I think if you have your internet connection on, they might be able to detect you and stop you from playing the game, that’s my thought since everybody says you have to block your cracked games from the internet to be able to play ^^
NAM – Downloading now via Megasync app but still downloading Orange Box for PS3 so may take a while. Will let you know if it is picked up by my Blizzard Launcher as I can scan for games that are installed. Take care anyway and thank you as I wasn’t selected for the Alpha tests.. Maybe I’ll be lucky and get selected for the Beta tests – NOT holding breathe tho.. lol

But all i got of this game was the main menue.
No chars to choose. And the options are not changeable etc.
This is very poor for an alpha version.
So you should wait untill Blizzard has finished the game. 🙂

OH.. Purchased with D3:RoS, Necromancer Pack and others bits for £49.99.. Saved £20 so D2:Resurrected has cost me £14.99 instead of £34.99.. lol
I mean if the crack is out everywhere in October then I think I will have my way to get the crack. But it’s nice to know that you will give it to us ^^

No, it’s just the alpha version, The only classes that work are Amazon, Barbarian and Sorceress. You can also play 2 / 5 acts.

omg I forgot to put the instruction:
1. Install NET Desktop Runtime 3.1 (Required)
2. Run from the game folder (START)
3. Play
4. Create a character and start the game (You need to continue the game through the TCP/IP item, and not through the Play Game)
