hey i already installed this game, but how can i play it? it won’t start in my pc
– Download the game
– Download Daemon Tools
– Unzip Daemon Tools & the Zoo Tycoon RAR files
– You will see 2 folders in Zoo Tycoon called CD1 and CD2. Not sure what CD2 is for, but if you open CD1, you will see a BIN and a CUE file.
– Open Daemon Tools Pro Advanced. You’ll see in the left column 3 items: image catalogue, recently used images, and DVD/CD roms. You’ll be in image catalog by default. Drag the CD1 BIN and CUE files into the empty area. You will see one icon, the Zoo Tycoon icon after. Now you can click “Mount” on the top menu, it’s a play button that will turn green once you’ve dragged the files into Daemon.
– Go to DVD/CD roms, and you’ll see it listed as a “virtual device” as your computer’s default disk drives (whether that be E:, F:, etc.)
– Double click and install the game. Helpful to say you want a desktop icon for easy access 🙂
– Every time you want to play the game (e.g. if you turn your computer off, and the next day you power it back on) you have to open Daemon Tools, and make sure Zoo Tycoon is in your disk drive. (Because otherwise if you just click your zoo desktop icon, it’ll say to install the disk before you play. Remember that it was a CD ROM game back in 2001.)
– If it’s not there, just click on the zoo icon in the “image catalog”, hit “mount”, (don’t install the game again), then click on your desktop icon.

it appears this download does not work for me. i checked the chosen install location and it dosnt install anything
try change the .bin file to .iso :((

There are three method to change game language, first is from game options (if available), second is from language changer (if available), third is by edit language line in .ini file (example steam_api.ini or steam_emu.ini or codex.ini or skidrow.ini or 3dmgame.ini) if your windows hide the common extensions, the name of file will be without the ini, example “steam_api”. the icon looks like a txt file icon) ^^
