Chornobyl Exclusion Zone has changed dramatically after the second massive explosion in the year 2006. Sadly no, you have to uninstall the old version and install this new one instead.
Before that, make sure to make a copy of your saved files, its location can be found in here:

Try all the locations to find the correct location for you.
Paste the saved files back after you have the new version if the old saved files get deleted.

I already install the game and Run “setup_s.t.a.l.k.e.r.2_heart_of_chornobyl_1.4.1(82180).exe” to install the game
in the middle of the installer a notification appear “internal error runtime error (at 500:57)

After the update notification, but after loading the file of the UPDATE V20.12.2024 of elamigos, I saw that the comment was still the original. Latest update doesn’t always work and I don’t have the storage and device to check all the games/updates so if this one doesn’t work for you, leave it. Save your save files and reinstall the game if necessary.
