I don’t have the update only, you have to reinstall the game with the new version.

You will lose them.
Which is why you have to make a copy of them to paste them back later.
I searched and found this game’s save file location to be “%USERPROFILE%/AppData/Local/FieldsOfMistria/saves”
But if that isn’t the one for you, search for “Fields of Mistria save file location” and dig some more.
I’ll just wait for the update file only tysm QAQ
